WHAT IS CREATIVITY?
The word itself derives from the Latin

creare:

to make and the Greek

Krainein:

to fulfill. At a very basic level, creativity is born of necessity; it's the capture, nurturing and connecting of ideas, thoughts and methodologies in order to fill a need. The role of good design is to direct this creative energy towards achieving a specific outcome that is novel, elegant and of value.

The creative process is both a mental and a social function; one that is so much a part of everyday life that many take it for granted. Everyone has the capability to be creative, either on their own or in collaboration with others. Perhaps some individuals are more innately creative than others; but without practice and application, that capability will not grow.

The constant pursuit of creating and implementing 'the new' has always been the heart of the Walking Fern philosophy. The path itself is different every time, but the final objective is always the same: to deliver a truly effective and appealing result.
